We will be extending the half price initiation fee until we open, which could be soon.
It's time to pass on the Webmaster duties to someone else. If anyone has any web building experience, and would like to help us out, please contact me and we can work something out.
We have decided that because we are so close to opening, that we will be having work-parties every Saturday in March. Work will include cleaning, ceiling tile work, construction, etc. The BOD is going to be trained to give the Safety/Orientation class, which every member will be required to take before they receive their access card. Giving this class to 250 plus members will be quite a job to get done quickly, as everybody will want to be the first so they can get shooting. We understand this, and are hoping it won't take much more than a week to get all members trained. There will be some new rules/procedures that older members may agree or disagree with, but the BOD is just thinking of the safety and well being of all members. Some of these new rules may change as we move forward. Bare with us.
For those that want to know where the new property is, it's at 5930 McIntyre St.

The annual meeting and elections were held last Tuesday. Up for election were Secretary, and 3 BOD positions. Normally there would have been 2 board positions, but because the sec. position was taken by Marilyn, her board slot was vacated, which had 1 year left. The new Secretary is Marilyn Mumby. Wayne Harris and Chris Loving have the 3 year term board spots, and Bob Mumby takes the 1 year board slot, backfilling Marilyn's place. Other than that, there were no other changes with the Board or Club Officers. The new membership applications should be posted here sometime later today. I should have got this done sooner, but with the holiday and all, I got behind.
The over-head walkway has been tore down, and we need to close the hole. Some help there will be needed. Power to the building is still several weeks out, as is the modern plumbing. Thanks to all that have put in so much work so far.
Keep checking back for the latest news.
