Membership Notes

  • Due to affiliation and insurance requirements, all club members are required to be members of the National Rifle Association.
  • All members must be at least 18 years old.
  • All club members that have taken the safety orientation class on or after May 13, 2014 are given a badge which gives them 24/7 access to the club.
  • Ranges are occasionally closed for scheduled club events such as work parties or matches.
  • New members are accepted throughout the year.
  • Pistol and Rifle matches are open to members of the public and provide an excellent opportunity to see the club and its members in action.

To become a member, complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the required application form(s)  membership application form (pdf) or  APPLY ONLINE  for each person joining.   Include payment as defined below or PAY ONLINE .
  2. Be a member of the National Rifle Association.
  3. Complete and pass a safety/orientation class.  See the calendar for dates.  Then  register here.  For a family or corporate membership, each adult must take the safety/orientation class.
  4. A background check will be run.   For a family or corporate membership, each adult must have a background check run.
  5.  The applicant’s membership application will be voted upon at the next regularly scheduled club meeting to complete the application process. The probationary member must be present at this meeting or voting will be postponed until the next meeting at which the applicant is present.  For a corporate membership, the corporation’s representative must be present for the vote.

  • Individual
    • Dues $250/yr
    • Initiaion Fee (one time only upon joining the club)
      • $300
      • $50 administration fee replaces initiaion if child of ARPC family membership and have aged out
    • Family Fee $50
      • adds a second adult at same address who will also receive a membership card
      • Any dependent child under 18 or a child still in school up to the age of 25 can accompany you without paying a guest fee
    • Work bond of 8 hours to be completed in 12 months or charge of $15/hr will be added to your renewal for each incomplete hour
    • Guests are allowed at $10 per guest per visit (waiver must be signed)

  • Senior (65+)

    • Dues $125/yr
    • Initiaion Fee (one time only upon joining the club)
      • $300
    • Family Fee $50
      • adds a second adult at same address who will also receive a membership card
      • Any dependent child under 18 or a child still in school up to the age of 25 can accompany you without paying a guest fee
    • Work bond requirement is waived, although any work done will be welcome
    • Guests are allowed at $10 per guest per visit (waiver must be signed)

  • Student (new)
    • Dues $125
    • Initiaion Fee waived
    • Must have student card of an accredited education institution of Colorado
    • Membership Length
      • School of Trades student memberships are extended to 14 months
      • All other memberships are for 12 months
      • If a program length is similar to the School of Trades, the ARPC Board will need to be approached regarding an exception
    • Work bond of 8 hours to be completed in 4 months or charge of $15/hr will be charged.  If work bond hours are not completed or paid for after 4 months, the student member’s access card will be turned off
    • A free student membership is awarded to any student who signs up 10 new members
    • Guests are allowed at $10 per guest per visit (waiver must be signed)

  • Corporate (new)
    • Dues $1500/yr for up to 5 members
      • $250/yr per additional member
    • $50 administration fee per member
      • this also applies for any substitutions for ongoing years
    • A Corporate Membership Application must be completed
    • A Corporate Member Individual Application must be complete for each member
    • Payment must be from the Corporation on a corporate account
    • Corporation must provide list of its members each year and identify the corporation’s representative on it
    • One vote assigned to the corporation’s representative
    • The corporation may not conduct activities intended to generate a profit using ARPC facilities or equipment.
    • Corporation may reserve the range for company events two times per year.
      • Each reservation is limited to two hours unless prior arrangements are made with the board of directors
      • Reservations must be made with a minimum of thirty (30) days notice which must also include a brief description of the event.
      • APRC will provide a qualified range safety officer for each event at its own expense.
    • Work bond requirement is waived, although any work done will be welcome
    • Guests are allowed at $10 per guest per visit (waiver must be signed)
      • Each corporate membership includes 2 guest vouchers per each corporate member per year which can be substituted for the $10 guest fee and will need to be included with the waiver
