This tournament will be fired at three locations: on the Eastern slope at the Arvada Rifle and Pistol Club; and on the Western slope at the Gunnison Sportsman’s Club and in Grand Junction at the Western Slope Target Shooters Club. Registrants may compete at any location, regardless of residency.

Eastern Slope: To be fired at the Arvada Rifle and Pistol Club, 5930 McIntyre Street, Golden, Colorado, 80403.

ENTRIES: Individual preference of relay must be noted on entry card. Entries close at 10 PM, March 4, 2021. Team entries may be made on the day of the match.

FEES: Entry fees must accompany registration, Military organizations excepted. Entry fees will be returned if notice of cancellation is received prior to March 4, 2021.

 

Package Fee: $20.00 includes NRA registration fees

State Registration Fee:       $10.00 additional required of all non- members of the State

Association for temporary honorary membership. Competitors from States with official reciprocal agreements and who are members of their State Association need not pay the non- residency fee.

Team Entry Fee:                 $8.00 per team

ELIGIBILITY: Individual: Open to all members of the NRA. Registrants must also be individual members of the Colorado State Shooting Association. Non-Association members must pay the State Registration Fee.

Teams:       Teams must represent clubs, State Associations, Military or police organizations affiliated with the NRA. No "pick-up" teams will be allowed.

CATEGORIES: Individual: In Match 5 only, Civilian and Service categories will be established in any class in which there are a minimum of ten competitors in each category. The Service category will be regular active service members. Civilian, National Guard, Reserve and Police will compete in the Civilian category.

RULES: NRA rules will govern.


CHALLENGES: A fee of $1.00 will be charged for each challenge. See NRA rules for procedure. The plug type scoring gauge is restricted to use by the Official NRA Referee in determining questionable shot values.

CLASSIFICATION: Individual: The NRA classification system will be used. Unclassified competitors will fire in the Master class. If there are eight or more unclassified competitors in Match 5, an unclassified class will be established and awarded

Team: The NRA team classification system will be used. PROGRAMS: All matches - .22 caliber rim fire, 50 feet.

Match 1 - 20 shots slow fire

Match 2 - 30 shots gallery course (national galley course) Match 3 - 20 shots timed fire

Match 4 - 20 shots rapid fire

Match 5 - STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AGGREGATE, sum of matches 1 thru 4.

Match 6 - STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOUR MAN TEAM MATCH - 30 shot gallery

Each relay will fire all matches without leaving the firing line. Match 6 will be fired upon completion of Match 4.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Each competitor will receive a copy of the official results bulletin.

AWARDS SCHEDULE: Awards will be made on a State wide basis. State Championship title or awards are not restricted to Colorado residents. No competitor may receive more than one award in any match with the exception of the State Championship winner, High Lady, High Senior and High Grand Senior in Match 5.

Match 5: Aggregate Match

Winner                        12 NRA Award Points, a plaque, and name engraved on the Mike Kaser Memorial Trophy

First in class                6 NRA Award Points

Second in class            4 NRA Award Points, 9 through 16 competitors Third in class                             3 NRA Award Points, 17 or more competitors First Unclassified                6 NRA Award Points, over 8 competitors

High Lady                   4 NRA Award Points, over 3 competitors High Senior                          4 NRA Award Points, over 3 competitors High Grand Senior      4 NRA Award Points, over 3 competitors


 

If more than 24 compete in any one class, the award schedule will be adjusted upward to accommodate.
